Here at Bonita we aim to make your waxing experience as effortless and enjoyable as possible. All waxing services are performed by trained and experienced professionals and in just a few minutes we can completely remove the hair from your chosen region.
With other hair removal options such as shaving or epilation, it can create irritation and abrasions. Waxing removes hair completely from the root and avoids any chances for stubble and ingrown hairs.
If you’re seeking a long term solution to hair management, Bonita Beauty is here to partner with you to treat your hair needs. Whether you’re tired of irritation caused by shaving or simply looking for high end treatment at affordable costs, we’re the only name in Auckland to consider.
FAQ
I've heard about a Brazilian, what does it involve?
One of our most popular options is our traditional approach to a brazilian wax, removing all hair from the groin areas. Getting you ready for swimsuit season.
As this is a sensitive area there are certain things you may want to consider;
I've got my period, is this a problem?
Your skin is often more sensitive near the time of your period and waxing can be more painful than normal. It is up to you, just wear a tampon and be sure to consult with your beauty therapist.
I'm worried about it hurting
There will always be a certain amount of pain associated with Brazilian wax and your pain tolerance but there are things you can do to minimise discomfort. You can limit caffeine for several hours prior to your appointment and some people choose to take Nurofen 30- 45 minutes before their appointment, these can all contribute to minimise your pain.
What can I expect to happen?
We understand it can be a nerve wracking experience, especially if it’s your first time. Our waxing takes place in our private room with the door locked. You will be asked to remove any necessary clothing and for G-string and Brazilians you will also need to remove your underwear. Once you’ve done it once the whole experience is much less daunting.
I'm pregnant, is waxing ok?
Waxing during pregnancy is common and considered safe, you may be more sensitive however due to hormone changes. Please let us know if you are pregnant and we will take extra care to make you comfortable.
